"Many of our fears are tissue paper thin, and a single courageous step would carry us clear through them."  - Brendan Francis Behan (1923-1964) Irish Author

Are you feeling empty or lost and don’t know why?

  • Do you feel there’s something missing in your life but can’t name it?
  • Are you doing all “the right things” for success and yet feel like you’re only going through the motions?
  • Are you craving spiritual growth and feeling stunted?
  • Do you find yourself thinking, “Is this all there is?”

It’s easy to feel lonely and isolated if life consists of doing tasks, not connected to your own heart and passion for life.  You may have chosen a very desirable lifestyle, relationship or career, only to discover that you’re not feeling satisfaction and joy.

To combat this feeling, you may have worked harder. Or you may have gradually done less and less, questioning if what you do makes a difference. Maybe you criticize yourself for not being satisfied with “the good life,” or maybe you criticize yourself for not having created “the good life.” You know that there is more but are confused about what that is or how to find it. Then you feel foolish for your thoughts, followed by anger at yourself for being in such a dilemma. What you really want is simply to know how to sort through these feelings and where to go from here.

We are flooded throughout the day by information to absorb.

In our increasingly fast-paced world, we’ve come to believe that we are supposed to do more and “have it all.” We rarely give ourselves time to evaluate if we still want what we did earlier and if it is still working for us. Without such stepping back, a gnawing feeling develops just outside our conscious awareness. Others aren’t talking about it so it is easy to assume that you are the only one feeling this way. Who wants to say that they feel like they’re on a treadmill and can’t get off? No one does.

I can tell you from my years of experience that many people are feeling disconnected from themselves and from loved ones and searching for a way back. Those who are persistent and patient discover what is missing and transform their lives through spiritual counseling.

The answers you seek are inside of you. You simply forgot where you put the key.

At the heart of Toltec wisdom is the awareness of oneself as a spiritual being on a path of learning integrity in this world. It is an ancient tradition that has been practiced for millennia. Toltec teaching directs you toward learning your true self and your purpose in being here.

Remembering your own identity is like a scavenger hunt. As a spiritual counselor, I listen to what you already know AND to what your spirit is pushing you to remember. I offer ways for you to grasp the impact of self-imposed restrictions and to feel the exhilaration of expanding into living your personal dreams. This is your spiritual growth.

Where we start depends on what has awakened your pain. I help you clarify, without judgment, your relationship with yourself and with life around you. We move step by step at your pace.  Along the way, we bump into limiting beliefs and also uncover the bountiful, but forgotten, power of you. There are many Toltec teachings and exercises, such as shaman ritual, medicine wheel teachings, shadow work process, mystery school teachings, and shamanic energy healing to guide you.

The natural world is where it is easiest to reconnect to your own authentic nature. Wilderness therapy is immersion into natural settings. These mirror what is really natural to you and what isn’t.

I have been astounded and humbled both by how medicine wheel teachings and Toltec wisdom have energized me and my brothers and sisters on this path over the past twenty years. I now know that we are only scratching the surface of our true power. We each are here to create a loving and beautiful life. We have all that it takes within ourselves, waiting to be activated. Shadow work process and shaman ritual facilitate the journey.

But wait

Others may be telling you it’s not important.

If something is troubling you, it’s important to listen to that voice. This is really about getting underneath both relationship problems and also the busyness of everyday life to reclaim your authentic self. This is vital if you are to create a purposeful and gratifying life. What can be more important? Mystery school teachings are a doorway.

If you don’t know what is wrong, can spiritual counseling help?

Spiritual counseling through wilderness therapy isn’t about giving you answers. It’s a process of discovering the beautiful and powerful person that you are and who has gotten lost along the way.  Shamanic energy healing can open you to perceiving your earth journey as multiple opportunities to grow and to contribute. I offer you the Toltec teachings passed on to me that encourage this self-exploration and transformation.

Isn’t this just something for you to figure out for yourself?

Your uniqueness is definitely something for you to discover within yourself, BUT you don’t have to do it alone. We are social beings whose relationship problems point to what requires healing energy. Throughout time, spiritual counselors and teachers, after learning themselves, have assisted students who also seek spiritual growth. This is you.

Knowing your true self will enrich your life and all your relationships.

  • My biggest concern was that the intensity of my emotion, sadness, and grief was abnormal and I would have to justify it. When I visited with Peg, I knew that there was no need to worry about that because there was a warmth, understanding and compassion….I understood better that my grieving was a process, and my sadness would get better eventually.
